We're finally getting somewhere...

Hey folks, just an update. LSS finally is able to move along with Mackenna's adoption process after waiting for some ICUA stuff to clear, so as of today they have all of the rest of our paperwork. After they assemble it all and submit it to court and our background checks come back again we will be able to schedule our court date. Hooray!

Mackenna, Jaden, and I got to go to our first day of MOPs today. It was fun. We all had a blast even though Mackenna didn't get her nap in. Jaden was super stoked that there was a potty that was his size. He even sat on it. Slowly but surely he will warm up to the idea.

In a bit of news around the Peterson house, Mackenna's face (and diapered bum) is a bit more famous these days! My diaper was just reviewed by a great mommy blogger at http://www.thesmalltownmom.com/ She gave it a great review and there is even a giveaway associated with it, so check it out! In the next couple of weeks http://www.marineparents.blogspot.com/ will be reviewing, too, and again, another giveaway. I am busy during naps and after they go to bed making dipes, having little photo shoots to upload to my Hyena Cart site, and packaging up diapers to send out. It's really busy right now with these two reveiws and a couple of larger orders that came in but I'm hoping to take a breather soon. This Sunday 7 more babes in addition to my two will be donning their Vikings dipes at kick off.

Mackenna and Grammie

I have been sooooo remiss in updating Mackenna's blog. Uffda. Sorry!
Mackenna finally popped her other bottom tooth through last week. It didn't come without a lot of drama, however! Bedtime is a bit interesting when she is teething. Thank goodness she does sleep ok once she finally falls asleep but that can take up to an hour and a half!

Mackenna is such a cute little lady. People constantly comment on how cute she is and how she is soooo smiley, which she is!

She is really grabbing at things and checking things out. My hair is now permanently in a pony tail otherwise I would have no hair left. She loves chewing on things.

Mackenna started to eat solids when she turned 6 months old. We started with rice cereal which she tolerated well. After a couple weeks we moved on to pears but they turned out to make her too gassy. Next we tried sweet potatoes which she really likes. Today we tried peas and she scarfed those down like they were candy! She still doesn't really like us to mix rice and a veggie or fruit. We will wait a bit before we do that.
Mackenna is getting around pretty well. She puts the army guys and gals to shame with her army crawl! When there is something a couple of feet away that she wants she will be there in about 10 seconds!
Big brother Jaden has almost conquered the terrible twos just in time to enter the tragic threes as one of my mama friends has coined the age! Drama, drama, and more drama! Jaden loves his little sister and has fun reading her stories and giving her kisses. As she gets more active and interactive he is having more fun with her.
I am busy with my diaper buisness when I'm not changing dipes, playing with kidlets, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. I have been blessed with a lot of new orders and inqueries which keeps me very busy. Two of the mommy bloggers out there are doing reviews on their blogs and are doing some give aways. I will post links when they are active. Little Lady and Little Man

Pics first again because I'm lazy.... anybody know how to do this easier on blogger?? Move the pics easier? Insert them exactly where you want em instead of having to manually move them around after they are inserted? any smarties out there that can answert that question??
Mackenna hiding behind a blanket in her stroller. Doesn't she have BEAUTIFUL blue eyes? I think they are her birth grandma's eyes!!!
Jaden loves pouring water over his head! He calls it 'going under water'!
Nana with ALL of her great grandchildren L to R Front to back: Oliver, Bryce, Jaden, Olivia, Mackenna, Eleanor, Meredith, Joshua, Jacob, Madison, Megan, Nana

Mackenna smiles all the time and when she gets really excited she opens her mouth REALLY wide!
Jaden was my quality control this morning as I was finishing up some diapers! He was counting the snaps for me. He does really well up to 20 and then they get kind of hit and miss after that!
I can't believe Mackenna is already 6 months old!! She is really getting to be such a little character. She is content and happy most of the time but when she's not, she's a little drama queen!
Jaden is getting to be such a big boy. His vocabulary is crazy now and he hears and soaks in EVERYTHING!
I hope to be able to do more updating but I am busy busy busy busy with sewing dipes, shipping out orders and doing fun little contests and giveaways.

A couple of mommy bloggers have contacted me about doing some reveiws of my dipes so that's cool! It will be interesting to see what comes of all of this. It's fun for now and a great creative outlet!

If you are a cloth diaperer check out the blog I added to the right. She is doing a giveaway for a One Size FuzziBunz!! woo hoo!!!
